In fact, a similar case has come to light in Raipur, where a businessman was selling duplicate clothes in the name of branded clothes. The police raided the businessman’s shop and recovered a large quantity of fake clothes. According to the information, action was taken against Haresh Ahuja, a businessman selling duplicate clothes of Nike, Levis, Under Armor Company in front of City Center Mall of Devendra Nagar police station area in capital Raipur. Action was taken against the textile trader under the Copyright Act. The complaint against the businessman was lodged at the police station by Shobha Kevat, Enforcement Officer, United Overseas Trademark Company.

On receiving the complaint, the police raided the shop of businessman Haresh and seized a large quantity of duplicate clothes. 584 lowers of Nike Company, 406 lowers of Nike Jordan Company, 96 jeans and 300 lowers of Levis Company, 300 lowers of Levis Company and other items were seized.
