There were discrepancies in the submission of documents for the remaining 719.
There had been a long-standing demand that the Election Board issue contract job orders to them. They were called separately and all their documents were verified. Currently, 668 people have been issued appointment orders. It has been reported that the remaining 59 people will receive appointment orders after their documents are verified. During the last five years of this government, 5,825 contract nurses have received permanent work orders.
₹3 lakh for training cancelled…: Medical students studying abroad had to pay up to ₹3 lakh for training at the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. Even then, they had to apply for training at hospitals where vacancies were available. After the government came to power, that ₹3 lakh was cancelled. These students are being given ₹25,000 per month as a training fund during their training period. During this training, they will have to keep moving towards vacant positions. To reduce their movement, the Directorate of Medical Education and Research has launched a new website. Through this, students can visit the website to find out which medical colleges have vacancies, apply for them, and receive orders, he said. Public Health Secretary P. Senthilkumar, Medical and Rural Welfare Director Chitra, Medical Education and Research Director Suganthi Rajkumari, Public Health and Immunization Director Somasundaram, Additional Directors Rajmohan and Thilagam were present at the ceremony.
