Apple iPhone 16 series is expected to get improvements in camera specifications

Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 16 series across the Globe in September. Apple iPhone 16 series camera is expected to improve in terms of specifications. Like the current generation of iPhones, the next generation of iPhone series is expected to get four models. This includes the two regular variants and two pro variants.

The details about the camera of the upcoming iPhone series have been out and we get to know what the upcoming devices will offer to the users.

When it comes to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, there are two cameras at the rear. However, the camera alignment is different from that of the older model. While the primary camera is a 48MP camera just like the earlier generation, the ultrawide camera gets f/2.2 aperture. This is expected to improve the low-light photography on the smartphone. When it comes to the Pro models, both the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models have a 5x telephoto camera. The camera will be the same 12 MP camera with f/2.8 aperture.

The primary camera on the Pro devices is similar to those on last year’s devices. On the other hand, the ultrawide gets some changes. The 48MP pixel sensors will offer 48 MP ProRaw photos. It is also rumoured that Apple will offer a new photo format- JPEG-XL. The Pro models will support 3K video at 120fps along with Dolby Vision.

There will also be a Capture Button on the iPhone 16 models. This dedicated button for using the camera will be quite handy while using the camera. The camera button will be capacitive and this means that it can be used by camera apps as well as third-party ones. The Capture button is force-sensitive and a half press can be used to access features like locking exposure and focus.
