Actress Apoorva Arora News: Actress Apoorva Arora, who recently appeared in the streaming series ‘Family Aaj Kal’, has expressed concern over the lack of proper health care facilities for women. The actress, who suffers from PCOD (polycystic ovary syndrome), said that despite significant progress in medical science and health services, there is a lack of research dedicated to women.

apoorva arora PCOD is a hormone-related disease in which the normal fertility cycle in women is disrupted. Raising an important issue, Apoorva told IANS, “This lack of understanding (about the female body) has a negative impact on women’s health and well-being. Women make up half of the world’s population, and if they are not getting better healthcare, it calls into question our progress as a society. “Traditionally, women have been underrepresented in positions of authority and have often not been recognised for their scientific achievements. It is important to work on these issues to achieve gender equality in healthcare and meet the needs of all, which usually takes small steps,” the actress said.

Apoorva, who has worked in Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi and Kannada films, also spoke about how yoga has helped her get relief from PCOD-related symptoms. She said yoga has been key in her fitness journey. She tried many types of exercises, but yoga has proved beneficial for her. She said, “Yoga has helped me get relief from PCOD-related symptoms in the last few years and has also been helpful in healing old injuries.”
