Anupama: After the leap in Anupama, many new characters were added to the series. One of these new characters was Shruti. Sukirti Kampal played the character of Shruti in this series. Actually, in the last episode of Anupama, Anuj and Shruti’s relationship came to an end. Due to the growing uncertainty for Anuj, Shruti plots to close Anupama’s restaurant and Anuj gets angry with her. Shruti also apologizes to Anuj to console him. But Anuj cannot forgive her. He breaks his relationship and engagement with Shruti. Seeing Anuj breaking down like this, Shruti accuses him of breaking up with Shruti because of Anupama as he still loves Anu.
