Anna University students bear the brunt of security threats

CHENNAI: Ten days after an Anna University student was raped by an intruder inside its Guindy campus, the administration has gone into overdrive in an attempt to tighten security. While trees are being pruned, light bulbs changed and security personnel stationed at every nook, students, especially women, worry some of the new measures are becoming increasingly restrictive to them.
