Mumbai (IANS) | ‘Bigg Boss 16’ contestant Ankit Gupta, who is currently playing the role of singer Jahaan in ‘Junooniyat’, got injured on the sets of the show. During the sequence of the song, he had to jump. While doing this scene, he lost his balance and fell on the ground.
Talking about the incident, he said: Taking risks while acting is common, and getting hurt is a part of the job. I was totally engrossed in the scene and didn’t realize that I had made a mistake which caused me to get hurt. However, my team took care of me, for which I am thankful to them.
The 34-year-old actor has featured in several TV shows like ‘Sadda Haq’, ‘Begusarai’, ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and many more. He was also a part of other web series like ‘Bekaboo 2’. Before joining the fantasy drama ‘Junooniyat’, she was seen as a contestant in the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 16’.
He also learned to play guitar for his character and shared how he continued shooting despite the injury. He said, the love and support of the audience is what drives us forward as actors. I firmly believe that the show must go on and I am excited for the viewers to know what the upcoming episodes have in store for them.
