VIJAYAWADA. Vijayawada: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu held a review meeting at NTR Bhavan on Saturday to strengthen coordination between the government and the party. While he himself will interact with party leaders at the party office every Saturday, Naidu has directed his ministers to visit TD offices in their respective places and meet party workers and people.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu acknowledged that Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan played a major role in ensuring that the anti-incumbency votes were not divided. He underlined that the BJP has also come forward to work together to take the state forward. The Chief Minister made it clear that those who have worked hard for the success of the NDA alliance will definitely get nominated posts.
On the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu held a teleconference with NDA leaders and workers. “This time, we have won a record number of seats, which we had never achieved in the last 20 years. This is no ordinary success but a historic victory, achieved by the faith reposed in us by the people,” he told NDA workers.
Noting that the NDA alliance has secured 57 per cent votes, he advised the MLAs not to neglect local party leaders and workers. “We should help the people who have given such a huge mandate,” he said. Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that the promises made to the people during the election campaign like the Super-Six and Praja Galam manifestos will be implemented in letter and spirit. He said he has already signed files like Mega DSC, repeal of Land Ownership Act, amendment in pension, skill census and revival of Anna canteens. He promised to provide employment to the youth after assessing their skills. He said the skill census is likely to completely change the lifestyle of the youth in the state. He assured that Anna Canteens would be revived at all the locations where they existed between 2014 and 2019.
