Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh: Roads and Buildings Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy on Monday visited the Maddileti Swamy and Yaganti Shiva temples in Nandyal district after taking oath of office. He said he has prayed for the welfare of the state. Janardhan Reddy along with his family members visited the temple of Sri Maddileti Swamy in Bethamcherla mandal. Visiting the temple for the first time as a minister, the temple priests and officials accorded him a warm welcome with traditional Poornakumbham. Janardhan Reddy performed special rituals at the temple and said that with the blessings of Maddileti Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, the state will prosper under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and the people of Banaganapalli will prosper with the fruits of welfare and development. He later visited the Yaganti Uma Maheshwara Swamy temple. The minister said that with the blessings of the Swamy, the people of Banaganapalli constituency will be blessed with peace and happiness. The minister was welcomed by temple priests and temple executive officer. This was followed by special poojas for Swamy Vinayaka and Sri Umamaheshwara Swamy. Janardhana Reddy’s family members performed special poojas for Yaganti Basavanna. Besides, Telugu Desam state general secretary Somisetty Venkateswarlu, party leader Illuri Lakshmaiah, state Telugu Youth vice president Somisetty Naveen paid a courtesy call on Janardhana Reddy at Banaganapalli on Monday. Venkateshwarlu told the minister that during the previous YSRC government, the state roads were plagued with potholes but now all roads in the state should be repaired to maintain the trust people have reposed in the Telugu Desam government.
