Mahasamund. Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Amitabh Kumar Shah reached Mahasamund on a two-day visit. During this, he reached the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra and met the beneficiaries and got information about the implementation of the schemes. He visited the stalls in the camps and discussed with the beneficiaries of various schemes. Shri Shah took stock of the camp organized in village Beltukri, Achola under Mahasamund development block on Wednesday and in village Lamkeni under Bagbahra development block on Thursday.
Shah also visited the campaign chariot guaranteed by Modi at the camp. Collector Shri Prabhat Malik said that camps are being organized in the district as per the prescribed route. Which will run till 26th January. Under the Ujjwala scheme, forms are being filled in the camps and the benefits are being provided to the eligible beneficiaries. Similarly, Aadhar card, Ayushman card are also being made during the camp itself.
Shah also discussed with various stakeholders during the stall inspection. Discussed with Mrs. Manmoti of Udaan Mahila Group in village Lamkeni and took detailed information about her bank linkage, benefits, production etc. Manmoti of the group under Meri Kahani Meri Jubani told that she earns about 12 to 15 thousand rupees per month. He has also got a loan of one lakh rupees from the bank. Similarly, in village Beltukri, Derhin Koshale told that first she had to go to a private hospital for delivery but due to Ayushman card, she got treatment. This helped me a lot. Similarly, Gyan Bai of the women’s group told that her group started its work of making tents and vegetable gardens by taking a loan of Rs 3 lakh. Today they are self-reliant. Ushabai told that ever since she got gas under Ujjwala scheme, food gets cooked quickly. Now free from smoke. Similarly, he also discussed with the beneficiaries in village Kanekera and Achola. Shri Shah also took information regarding the camp from local public representatives.
