Sambalpur: A customer paid Rs 61 thousand and ordered a laptop on Amazon in Sambalpur of Odisha. However, yesterday when he unwrapped the packet he found only a piece of marble stone inside it.
As per reports, there is a clinic in front of Sambalpur district Headquarter hospital. The owner of this clinic ordered a laptop online after making pre-payment of Rs 61 thousand on Amazon.
Yesterday, he received a packet from Amazon through courier in which the laptop should have come. However, after unwrapping the packet he got astonished to find that there was only a piece of laptop inside the packet.
After this set back, the consumer raised complaint online with Amazon and tried to reach out to the customer care. However, as he did not get any result, he then went to the Town Police Station and filed a written complaint with Police in this matter.
The police have registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.
