Entertainment: A prominent producer has revealed that Allu Arjun no longer wishes to limit himself solely to Tollywood; instead, he is actively expanding his network within Bollywood and seeking opportunities to collaborate with major filmmakers.
According to sources, Allu Arjun is particularly keen on working with renowned director Aditya Dhar. This speculation gained further momentum when Allu Arjun became one of the first individuals to take to social media to praise Aditya Dhar’s recent high-profile project. His growing connections within Bollywood, coupled with his interest in exploring diverse cinematic genres, have further intensified these discussions.
Prior to this, Allu Arjun also met with celebrated filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Mumbai, making it evident that he aspires to collaborate with big names across various film industries. The producer noted that his father, Allu Aravind, plays a pivotal role in identifying successful directors and initiating conversations with them immediately following the release of their major hit films.
Allu Arjun is already working on a massive sci-fi thriller with Atlee—a director who had also received film offers from several major Bollywood stars. It is anticipated that this project will be produced on a grand scale.
On a personal level, Allu Arjun is known for closely tracking successful films and appreciating talented directors. He frequently meets with filmmakers to discuss their work and explore potential collaboration opportunities. For instance, following the tremendous success of Jailer, he met with Nelson Dilipkumar and even discussed story ideas with him, although that particular project did not eventually materialize.
He has also signed a film with Lokesh Kanagaraj, a director acclaimed for hit films such as Kaithi, Master, and Vikram. This project is set to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. With a clear focus on cinema across India and the globe, Allu Arjun aims to work on large-scale, story-driven films; in this context, his potential collaboration with Aditya Dhar could prove to be another major step in this direction.
