All hospitals of Delhi government ready in view of Kovid: Saurabh Bhardwaj

New Delhi (IANS) | According to the Delhi government, in view of the increasing cases of Kovid, the health preparedness in the state is complete and sufficient oxygen is also available.

Saurabh Bhardwaj, Delhi’s health minister said, “We are making arrangements at our level. If the cases increase further and people require more hospitalisation, we are preparing in all Delhi government hospitals.” We are doing it. We have enough oxygen capacity. Oxygen generation is also happening enough, now there is no worry about it.

He said that “Covid cases are increasing globally and in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat. We had apprehensions that cases will increase in Delhi. However, experts are saying that there is nothing to worry as this variant is not serious”. “

Earlier, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said on Friday that “the Delhi government is monitoring the rise in Covid cases in the national capital and is prepared to face any eventuality”.

On Monday, 293 new cases have been reported in the capital in a single day. The positivity rate of Covid in Delhi has crossed 18 per cent. Along with this, 2 patients have also died of Covid in the capital. While according to the data of the Ministry of Health, 3,641 new cases have been found in the last 24 hours across the country.
