After Rohit, Gill also scored a century, India 264/1 till lunch on the second day

Dharamshala: The last match of the five-match Test series between India and England is being played in Dharamshala. England were all out after scoring 218 runs in their first innings. On Friday, India continued its innings from 135/1. At present, till lunch on the second day, India had scored 264 runs at the loss of one wicket. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are at the crease. Both players have scored centuries.

In the 5th Test match, the English team made a good start after winning the toss and came to bat first, but the Indian team made a brilliant comeback and put England on the back foot. After the strong bowling of Kuldeep Yadav and R Ashwin, the Indian batsmen also forced England to kneel.

On the first day, Team India made a good start in batting and laid the foundation of a big score. Taking this momentum forward, the Indian batsmen are showing their best on the second day as well. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are at the crease. Both players have scored centuries.

Rohit Sharma is playing at 102 runs in 160 balls with 3 sixes and 13 fours. Whereas Gill is unbeaten on 101 runs facing 142 balls and hitting 5 sixes and 10 fours. India has taken a lead of 46 runs in the first innings.

Earlier, Yashasvi Jaiswal was out after scoring 57 runs in the beginning of the Indian innings. Shoaib Bashir got his wicket. England scored 218 runs with the help of Jack Crawley’s 79 runs. From India, Kuldeep Yadav took 5 wickets and Ravichandran Ashwin took 4 wickets.
