Mahasamund. Additional Collector Ravi Kumar Sahu today inspected the paddy checking point Charoda and paddy procurement center Parasada of Pithora block and took stock of the arrangements. During this, he took information from the officers and employees present at the center about the paddy procurement process, moisture testing, weighing and storage status.
During the inspection, the Additional Collector instructed to take special care of the convenience of the farmers. He said that farmers should not face any kind of problem at the paddy procurement centers. He advised the officials to be vigilant to maintain transparency in moisture testing and ensure timely weighing process. While taking stock of the storage arrangements at the paddy procurement center Parasada, he asked to ensure that the paddy is kept properly safe and there is no irregularity.
At the paddy checking point Charoda, he emphasized on monitoring the vehicles coming and going and instructed to ensure security and transparency at the check post. Also, instructed the team to remain active to stop illegal paddy transportation. Additional Collector Sahu said that successfully implementing the government’s paddy procurement policy is the priority of the administration.
