Additional coaches will be added to Rameswaram-Egmore Express from May 17

Tamil Nadu : Additional coaches will be added to 18 trains including Rameswaram-Chennai Egmore and Tirunelveli-Vaishnavidevi Kadra Express from May 17.

Additional coaches are being added to trains to meet the needs of passengers and improve their convenience. In this regard, additional coaches have been added to 14 trains in the last 6 months. Additional coaches have also been added to trains including Nellai Vande Bharat and Nagarcoil Vande Bharat.

After this, an additional General Second Class will be added to Rameswaram-Egmore Express (No.: 22662/22661) from May 17 and Rameswaram-Egmore Express (No.: 16752/16751) from May 18, which will operate with a total of 23 coaches.

In addition, an additional general second class coach will be added to the Nagarcoil-Kottayam Express train from May 20 and an additional second class coach will be added to the Thiruvananthapuram-Nagercoil Passenger train from May 22. Similarly, two additional general second class coaches will be added to Madurai-Sengottai, Sengottai-Tirunelveli, Mayiladuthurai-Thanjavur, Trichy-Mayiladuthurai Passenger trains including Sengottai-Mayiladuthurai Express from May 25. Additional coaches of various categories including sleeper coaches, air-conditioned two-tier and three-tier coaches and general second class in both directions have been added in a total of 18 trains. It is reported that this step has been taken to simplify the reservation waiting list in trains and to ensure that all those who have made reservations have tickets.
