According to a PTI report, the Adani Group has won the tender for long-term supply of 6,600 MW renewable and thermal power to Maharashtra. The offer price is Rs 4.08 per unit, giving it an edge over companies such as JSW Energy and Torrent Power. Deliveries begin within 48 months of receiving the declaration of commitment. Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) has issued a letter of undertaking for 6.6 million kW to Adani Power, the Adani Group said in a statement. Sagar Adani, chief executive officer of Adani Green Energy, said Adani Green is well positioned to achieve its 50 GW target with critical resources secured at strategic locations.
