Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol recently wrapped up filming for their upcoming action film, Animal. The duo were spotted in London and were seen cutting cakes to mark the shoot wrap of their film.
According to reports, Ranbir Kapoor and team Animal are back in India to complete the filming of Animal. The team still has a song and a few action sequences from the film to shoot and are gearing up for the film’s release in August 2023.
In a video going viral on social media, an excited Ranbir Kapoor can be seen planting a kiss on co-star Bobby Deol’s cheeks as they celebrate the London wrap of Animal. The actor can also be heard saying “Thank you Bobby sir. You are amazing.” Watch:
Animal marks Ranbir Kapoor’s first time collaborating with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri and is slated for release in August 2023.
Ranbir Kapoor, who was recently seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, revealed in an interview that he hasn’t signed anything after Animal. The actor spoke about taking a short beak and said, “I’ve not signed anything after Animal. I haven’t signed a film yet and I’m not looking for anything either. I would like to take a little bit of a break to understand after Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar and Animal where I stand, where the film industry stands,” the actor said in an interview with GoodTimes.
The actor, who welcomed his first child with wife Alia Bhatt in November 2022 further added, “I think there has been a huge correction in the film industry also, post pandemic, about the stories, about budgets, actor fees. I think that the industry is going through a correction phase and I think by next we will be back on our feet.”
