Actor Emraan Hashmi’s flight from Mumbai fails to land at Ahmadabad airport, diverted to Jaipur

Mumbai: Actor Emraan Hashmi’s flight from Mumbai failed to land even after attempting to land twice at Ahmedabad airport which was later diverted to Jaipur.

Emran Hashmi was reportedly travelling from Mumbai to Ahmedabad to promote his upcoming show ‘Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web’.

According to reports, Emraan Hashmi was travelling in Akasa Air flight QP 1781, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 which departed from Mumbai at 8.40 AM which was expected to land by 10 AM at the Ahmedabad airport.

However, as the flight could not land at Ahmedabad airport, the pilots tried his best twice but as both the attempts were unsuccessful, the airport authorities decided to divert the flight towards the Jaipur airport where it was successfully and safely landed.

Emraan’s web show Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web is all set to be released tomorrow on Netflix. The web show is directed by Neeraj Pandey. The cast also includes Amruta Khanvilkar, Zoya Afroz, Nandish Sandhu, and Anurag Sinha. In the web series Emraan plays a customs officer leading a high-risk task force at Mumbai International Airport, tackling an international smuggling network.
