Jagdalpur. On Saturday morning, a speeding Tendupatta laden truck overturned uncontrollably at Gurunanak Chowk in the city. The truck driver suffered minor injuries in the accident, but a major incident was avoided. As soon as the information about the incident came, along with the traffic police, the in-charge of the Bodhghat police station also reached the spot, while the work of removing tendupatta loaded in the truck was started.
Regarding the case, Bodhghat police station in-charge Dilbag Singh told that a truck full of Tendupatta had left for Nandgaon from Bijapur. As the truck reached a curve near Guru Nanak Gate in Jagdalpur, the truck driver lost control, following which the truck overturned on the side of the road.
At the place where the truck overturned, daily along with the auto drivers, the laborers sit in search of work. Due to the accident in the morning, a major incident was averted, apart from this, a transformer is also installed there, due to which the truck was saved, otherwise a big accident could have happened.
