Dinanagar: There is news of a young man dying while crossing the road near Paniyad Sugar Mill near Dinanagar. The young man was crossing the road to go to a dhaba to drink tea, when he was hit by a speeding bus.
Giving information in this regard, Aashiq Ali son of Barsu resident Chakk Deesa Chaudharyan Police Station Raj Bagh, District Kathua (Jammu Kashmir) said that his nephew Sattu was going towards Amritsar in his car Swift.
When he parked his car on the side of Sugar Mill Paniyad Road and started crossing the road to drink tea and water at Fauji Dhaba, a private bus coming from Gurdaspur hit him. He died due to serious head injury. After investigation, the police have registered a case against the bus driver Naresh Kumar son of Mashat Ram resident of Mahalanda Police Station Indora District Kangra under various sections on the basis of the statements of the plaintiff and have started further action after registering the case.
