Punjab: The family of Akash Sharma alias Golu Pandit, who was shot dead by armed men in the parking lot of the Abohar court complex, recently blocked the main gate of the civil hospital and raised slogans against the police and the district administration. Golu’s father, Avinash Chander, who is a priest at the oldest temple in the area, alleged that members of the Gaggi gang, who are named in the FIR, are now threatening him and his family with death. He demanded that the police provide security to his entire family and issue them arms licenses.
