Raipur. A youth roaming with a knife in Purani Basti area has been arrested. Information was received from the informer that a boy named Virendra Yadav wearing a muddy shirt and black lower, is roaming with a knife. On receiving the information, immediately on the apprehension of any serious crime incident, the police rushed to the spot and as per the information given by the informer, the boy was standing at the spot.
On seeing the police, he tried to run away but failed to escape due to the promptness of the police. On searching the accused, an iron knife was found in his possession. Crime number 510/2024 under section 25 Arms Act was registered against the accused and the accused was duly arrested on 21.11.2024 and sent to judicial custody.
