A Tiger Has Died At Warangal Zoo Park

A white tiger (Sharan) died in its enclosure at the Kakatiya Zoological Park on Hunter Road in Warangal city on Tuesday morning. Zoo officials say it died of old age and multi-organ failure. Zoo supervision officer Mayuri said that the tiger was cremated on Tuesday. However, it seems that it died after falling ill for two days due to lack of proper maintenance by the officials.

The white tiger was brought to Warangal from the Hyderabad Zoo Park in July. It is reported that the tiger fell ill and died due to poor care. Officials, however, say that the tiger died of illness and heart attack. It is noteworthy that the district authorities kept the matter of the tiger’s death a secret and the zoo official said that it died of illness only after the funeral.
