Las Vegas: A California man has filed a lawsuit against a luxury resort in Las Vegas, alleging that a scorpion stung his testicles while he was sleeping in the hotel room. Michael Farchi told KLAS about the incident of December 26 – I felt as if someone had stabbed me in my private part. At that time it felt as if I had been hit by a sharp glass or knife. The Agora Hills resident said- I went to the toilet and I saw that there was a scorpion hanging on my underwear.
Farchi says that he did not even ask how the scorpion came into the room. He further said that no one told me about any option. After this incident, the man filed a medical incident report in the hotel, in which it was written – I have been bitten by a scorpion on my waist/testicles. Along with this he said that he was feeling a lot of pain due to the scorpion bite. Farchi detailed the scorpion sting in a separate interview with Los Angeles news station KABC on Monday, saying he had been stung at least three or four times. He said- I woke up with severe pain in my private part, did not know what it was. I raised my hand to see what was happening under the covers, then I felt a severe pain. The media outlet reported that Farchi and his family checked out of the hotel and the hotel paid for their room. According to a Las Vegas news station, Farchi filed a medical incident report at the hotel, documenting a hospital diagnosis of a scorpion sting in his groin area. According to the Mayo Clinic, scorpion stings are painful, but rarely life-threatening. However, young children and older adults are at the highest risk of suffering complications from scorpion stings.
