Ghaziabad: A fire broke out in a big scrap warehouse located in Khoda Colony, Ghaziabad. On receiving the information, about 10 vehicles of the fire department reached the spot. The firemen brought the fire under control after hard work. Firefighters completely brought the fire under control by removing the items with the help of JCB. However, some vehicles parked in the warehouse also caught fire.
According to the information received from the department, fire was reported at Ghaziabad Fire Station Vaishali around 3.15 pm last night in the scrap warehouse located in the Sunday Market near SR Hospital in Khoda Colony. After this, three fire tankers and units left for the spot. The team reached the incident site and started the work of controlling the fire. But seeing the dire nature of the fire, the Chief Fire Officer called 3 fire tankers from Fire Station Kotwali, 2 fire tankers from Fire Station Sahibabad and 2 fire tankers from Gautam Buddha Nagar district to the spot.
After hard work the firefighters brought the fire under control. There was no loss of life in this. However, information about how the fire broke out has not been received.
