Raipur. The roof of an 8-storey building under construction on VIP Road in Raipur collapsed. One laborer has died in the accident. About 8 laborers have been injured after being buried under the debris of the roof. At the same time, 2 laborers are feared to be buried. The case is of Telibandha police station area.
According to the information received, the roof casting work was going on, when a part of the roof fell. Centering and iron stand also fell. Workers from Bihar are also included among the injured. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police and administration team got involved in the rescue work. A large number of police forces are present on the spot. Rescue operation is going on. Raipur Collector Gaurav Kumar Singh has confirmed the death.
