Zaheerabad: In the wake of the Zaheerabad municipal elections, former councilor Meraj Unnasa Begum, co-option member, Congress leaders Akbar and Moin, and several women leaders have joined the BRS fold.
On this occasion, Zaheerabad MLA Manik Rao, Municipal Election In-charge Devi Prasad Rao and DCMS Chairman Shivakumar joined BRS in the presence of them. Speaking, MLA Koninti Manik Rao said that the BRS party will fight for the people as an opposition party and speak out strongly against the anti-people policies of the government.
It was made clear that the BRS will further strengthen its opposition role with the aim of developing Zaheerabad town and resolving public problems. Former municipal chairman Tanjim, senior leaders Nama Ravikiran, former town president Mohiuddin, BRS leaders, activists and public representatives participated in the program.
