Due to the fear of online challan by some youth, the number plates have been removed from the bikes or the number plates are being hidden with tape and the bike is being ridden dangerously while stunting. Statutory action is being taken by the district police keeping a watchful eye on such bike drivers. In the same sequence, on 13.04.2023, during the checking at the Aicholi barrier by U.N. Shankar Singh, in-charge, Aicholi barrier, a speeding bike which was being driven by the driver without number plate, three rides, without wearing a helmet, the driver did not even have a bass license. The said bike driver told that he had removed the number plate fearing online challan. The said bike was seized by the police team under various sections of the MV Act. Apart from this, challan action was taken against a total of 83 people who violated the traffic rules by the district police.
