Man beaten to death due to old rivalry in Bijnor
Bijnor: A 45-year-old man was beaten to death due to old enmity in village Harewali of Sherkot police station area in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. Police gave this information on Tuesday. According to the police, on Monday evening Sherkot police station had received information regarding the murder of a 45-year-old man. Police reached the spot and recovered the body. The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar of Harewali village. FIR was registered on the complaint of the relatives of the deceased. In this, Rajendra, Kishan, Sanjay, Rohit, Arjun and Ram Gopal, all residents of the village, were nominated. Afzalgarh Circle Officer (CO) Archana Singh said that preliminary investigation revealed that there was an argument between the deceased and the accused over some issue. As the dispute escalated, a fight broke out between the two. There were injury marks on the body of the deceased due to which it is suspected that he might have been beaten to death. The accused fled from the spot. The CO said that a case has been registered against accused Rajendra, Kishan, Sanjay, Rohit, Arjun and Ramgopal under relevant sections of the IPC. Teams have been formed to arrest the accused. The accused will be arrested soon. Further investigation is being done.
