Had to face differences in my initial days as an actor: Tina Dutta
Mumbai (IANS) | Actress Tina Dutta, who is gearing up for her upcoming new TV show Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum, has opened up about the differences she faced in her initial days as an actor. Tina grabbed headlines with her stellar performance in the 2009 show ‘Uttaran’. The show is on the theme of ‘Aam Aur Khaas’. IANS asks Tina if she has ever faced differences?
Yes, the initial phase of my life as an actor was ‘common and special’, said Tina. A newcomer was compared to a senior actor who has already been a part of the industry. I have faced those differences. I have seen those hurdles and gone through them all.
Her upcoming show, Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum, a remake of the popular Turkish drama Istanbul Gelin (Bride of Istanbul), will air on Sony Entertainment Television from 10th April.
‘Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum’ focuses on human nature. It also stars Jay Bhanushali and Kitu Gidwani.
Does she believe that unusual pairings make magical stories?
In response to this question, Tina Dutta said, definitely, yes. I feel the same way about chemistry. My character of Surili and Jai’s character of Shivendra will be loved by the audience. I think the audience will also like the chemistry of our pair.
