Make everyone aware, no child should be left out of polio medicine dose – SP Divyang Patel

Raigarh. Superintendent of Police Divyang Patel and CEO District Panchayat Jitendra Yadav today inaugurated the National Intensive Pulse Polio Campaign by administering two drops of polio medicine to children at Urban Primary Health Center Gandhinagar, Raigarh.

Superintendent of Police Divyang Patel, while addressing the parents, said that just as you have become aware and have come to give polio drops to the children, similarly make the people around you also aware. No child should be left out of taking polio drops. Health workers work for our health, so it is our duty to support them. CEO District Panchayat Jitendra Yadav also appealed to give polio drops to children. During this, District Immunization Officer Dr. B.P. Patel gave detailed information regarding Pulse Polio Campaign. On this occasion, councilor Neelam Rajju Sanjay, WHO Dr. Prashant, in-charge medical officer Gandhinagar Dr. G.S. Paikra, RMNCHA advisor Dr. Rajesh Mishra, urban program manager PD Bastia and health department employees were present. Three-day campaign in the district. Under this, 1 lakh 34 thousand 297 children aged between 0-5 years will be given doses of polio medicine. For which 1303 booths have been made, along with 19 transit teams, 13 fair market places and 25 mobile teams, in which a total of 2730 members and 283 supervisors are involved in the pulse polio campaign. On the first day on March 3, polio medicine was administered at the booth level. Similarly, on March 04 and 05, the vaccination team will visit door to door and give doses of polio medicine to the children who were left out in the booth activities.
