Sukesh Chandrashekhar expressed his views on the chat with Jacqueline Fernandez
New Delhi: Sukesh Chandrashekhar, lodged in Delhi jail, has given his stand on the recent circulation of alleged fake WhatsApp chats with Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. His statement not only raises questions about the authenticity of the conversation but also offers a glimpse of one of the many conversations between Chandrashekhar and Fernandes.
Chandrashekhar is the main accused in the Rs 200 crore extortion case. According to Chandrashekhar, the chat shared is from 2021 where he and Fernandes faced a misunderstanding.
She claims that Fernandez apologized and expressed his love in the message. His statement is intended to portray Fernandez’s public image as a victim who has nothing to do with him. Also, it has to be mentioned that love and commitment has been claimed in the chat.
To corroborate the claims, Chandrashekhar said that ED has screenshots of Fernandez’s chats and also his handwritten card which confirms authenticity. He goes a step further and offers the original drive from the WhatsApp cloud, which has extensive data on their conversations for investigation.
At the end of the statement Chandrasekhar apologizes to Fernandez for the public disclosure, also claiming that circumstances left him no other option.
Hinting that there will be more revelations to come, he said that the teaser is just the beginning. More than a hundred chats, voice recordings and video exchanges have been promised to be disclosed to the investigating agency.
