Lightning struck the police station, many policemen injured

Manendragarh. In Janakpur police station of MCB district on Wednesday afternoon, 5 policemen were slightly injured due to lightning, while the wireless and computer set installed in the police station was completely damaged. This incident created a stir in the police department. Along with knowing the well-being of the staff, the top officials kept taking information about the incident. At around 2.30 pm on Wednesday, lightning struck the Janakpur police station premises with intense thunder. Head constables Dhirendra Singh, Rajaram, Sunil Rajak, constables Raghunandan and women constables Priyanka Pandey and Preeti Bindu Minj, who were on duty, were slightly injured after coming under its grip.

Female constable Priyanka Pandey has been losing hearing since the incident. All the policemen are being treated, while the wireless and computer systems in the police station have also been completely damaged due to lightning. It may be known that a day before on Tuesday, where 2 people have died due to lightning in different places in Janakpur, while 2 seriously injured people are fighting for life in the hospital. Jaipal Binvansh (45) and Ganesh Maurya (60) died in Bharatpur village on Tuesday, while Ramjeevan Yadav, a resident of Ladkoda, was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment. The second incident of lightning occurred in village Barhori, in which 55-year-old Mohan Maniya was injured. He has been admitted to CHC Janakpur.
