Earlier, during his speech at the World Telugu Conference, Dharambir Gokhul said that the language is more than just a way of communication, but rather a living civilization with a spiritual heritage.
He said, “Telugu is not just a language; it is a living civilization and has a deep spiritual heritage.”
Gokhool described the World Telugu Conference as a landmark event bringing together the Telugu diaspora from around the world.

Emphasizing the importance of Telugu, he said that the language has evolved from a regional identity to a global one. He noted that Telugu is now spoken in over 50 foreign countries.
