CM Vishnudev Sai, during his visit to South Korea, invited ModernTech Corp., a leading company of green mobility solutions, and UNECORAIL, a leading Korean company of rail maintenance solutions, to invest and cooperate in Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister said that the priority of the state government is to promote clean energy, build sustainable transport infrastructure and strengthen the railway network. He expressed confidence that the partnership with these two companies will give new impetus to Chhattisgarh’s clean energy journey and logistics backbone.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai invited ModernTech Corp., a leading company of green mobility solutions, to invest in Chhattisgarh and proposed the company to set up a state-of-the-art EV charging manufacturing unit in the state, saying that this project will give the state a new identity in the field of clean energy and sustainable transport infrastructure.
Chief Minister Sai said that the state government’s Industrial Policy 2024–30 is in line with the goals of promoting green energy and reducing carbon emissions. He said, “Setting up an EV charging manufacturing unit in Chhattisgarh will not only strengthen the clean energy goals, but will also provide better and modern transport infrastructure to the people of the state. This initiative will prove to be a big step towards gifting a clean environment to future generations.”
He also underlined that this investment will create extensive employment opportunities for local youth, develop green technical skills in the state and give impetus to sustainable transport network in rural-urban areas. Officials present at the event said that the proposed project will provide employment to thousands of people directly and indirectly and will also promote component manufacturing units at the local level. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai assured the representatives of ModernTech Corp. that the state government will provide all possible support to the investors.
