Students are worried due to not getting marksheets, education department’s shocking act

Mahasamund. An astonishing feat of the education department has come to light in the district. It has been almost 5 months since the class 5th and 8th board exams ended in Mahasamund district. The last date for admission to the new academic session has passed, but 5433 students of the district have not yet received their mark sheets, due to which these students are facing a lot of problems. At the same time, the top officials of the education department are singing their own tune.
In Mahasamund district, 17103 students of class 5th and 17758 students of class 8th had given the board exams in the Board of Secondary Education, but 2697 students of class 5th and 2736 students of class 8th have not received their mark sheets yet.
Due to errors in the name and marks in the mark sheets, they have been sent to the board for correction, but till date the mark sheets have not been corrected. Mark sheets are mandatory in all the schemes of the government like Eklavya, Prayas, Navodaya, Scholarship. Students who have passed 8th standard have taken admission in other schools but those schools are constantly asking for their mark sheets. The students are upset and are facing a lot of difficulties.
