Son fulfills mother’s wish by donating eyes and skin

Durg. After the death of Sudha Devi Jain, a resident of Smriti Nagar Bhilai, the Jain family set an example for the society by donating her eyes and skin. Two families will be illuminated by the eyes of Sudha Devi Jain and two blind people will be able to see the world again and needy people will get skin.
After the death of Sudha Devi Jain, her sons Sandeep Jain, Seemant Jain, Shrikant Jain, Sushant Jain, daughters Rita, Sarita, Seema, Ruchita and Suchita and daughters-in-law Sakshi, Rakhi, Shweta Jain, grandson Shreyansh Sanjay Jain decided to donate eyes and skin. Eye donation and skin donation were completed with the help of Jain family’s son-in-law Neeraj Jain and Navdrishti Foundation members Raj Aadhatiya, Ritesh Jain, Rajesh Parikh. Dr. Utkarsh Bansal, Dr. Kalyani, Dr. Srishti and eye assistant Vivek Kasar of Sri Sankaracharya Medical College Junwani completed the eye donation process. Dr. Anirudh, I, Dr. Rahul Singroul, Deepak, Rajan, Vineet of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital Sector 9 completed the process of skin donation.

Sandeep Jain, director of Vidyashree Travels and son of Sudha Devi Jain, said that our entire family had pledged to donate eyes and body through Navdrishti Foundation five years ago and today after the demise of mother, when the whole family was devastated by grief, even in such a situation, our family remembered the pledge and fulfilled the wish of mother by donating eyes and skin. Harman Dulai said that five years ago, ten members of the Jain family had pledged to donate body and eyes and today mother’s eye donation will send a positive message in the society and awareness will increase among the people.
