Hemant Soren’s swearing-in today at 4 pm

Ranchi. Jharkhand is going to get its 14th Chief Minister today. Hemant is going to take oath as the 14th CM of the state at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi. Many stalwarts of INDIA block including Rahul Gandhi, Sharad Pawar and Mamata Banerjee are going to attend the swearing-in ceremony.

Chief Ministers and Deputy CMs of many states will also be a part of this program. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar will administer the oath of office and secrecy to Hemant Soren at 4 pm on Thursday. This will be the fourth term of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soren (49) as Chief Minister. Soren retained the Barhet seat by defeating BJP’s Gamliyal Hembrom by a margin of 39,791 votes in the recently held assembly elections. The JMM-led alliance has won by securing 56 seats in the 81-member assembly, while the BJP-led NDA got 24 seats.

In his speech after the victory, Hemant Soren said, ‘I am grateful to the people of Jharkhand for trusting our leadership. This victory reflects the aspirations of the people and we will work towards fulfilling them. This is the victory of the people.’ Hemant Soren has appealed to the public to attend his swearing-in ceremony and has also shared a YouTube link, where this program can be watched live.
