Haryana. Haryana government has bought a new helicopter worth Rs 80 crore to replace the 15-year-old helicopter. Before using the new Airbus H145-D3, a ‘puja ceremony’ was organized for it on Monday. CM Naib Saini, Minister Vipul Goyal and other ministers were also present on this occasion.

Civil Aviation and Urban Local Bodies Minister Vipul Goyal said on Monday that the state’s civil aviation department had recommended buying a new helicopter long ago. He said that the helicopter the government is using is very old.

According to the news agency, Goyal said, “The Civil Aviation Department had recommended a year ago that the old helicopter should be replaced. We had ordered a new helicopter and now we have got the delivery of this helicopter.” Although the cost of the new helicopter has been reported to be Rs 80 crore, Goyal said that the purchase cost will be calculated after the old helicopter is sold. He further said, “But a new helicopter was needed because the existing one was 15 years old.”
