Chhattisgarh: Mother, sisters and brother committed double murder
Sakti. Two brothers were murdered in the name of Tantra Sadhna in the Baradwar police station area of the district. Their mother, sisters and brothers are said to be involved in the murder of the deceased brothers Vikas Sidar (25) and Vicky Sidar (22). It is being told that during the Tantra Sadhna, both the brothers opposed it, after which the family poisoned them and made them unconscious and strangled them.
The police received information about Tantra Sadhna in a house in Tanduldih village on October 18. When the police reached the spot, the bodies of both the brothers were lying in the room, while the family members were screaming loudly. The police admitted the family members to the hospital, where they confessed their crime after regaining consciousness.
According to the police, the sister of the deceased, America Bai Sidar, had taken initiation in Tantra Sadhna from Ujjain, after which the process of Tantra Vidya started in the family. America, her mother Firtbai, sister Chandrika and brother Vishal had conspired to kill the brothers, because they were constantly opposing Tantra Sadhna. The family members said that they killed both the brothers during the worship of their Guru Umakant. After the murder, they covered the bodies of the brothers with a blanket and tried to mislead the police by staging a drama of satsang. The police have also seized pesticides, havan samagri and literature related to tantra sadhna from the spot. The police arrested the accused and presented them in the court, from where they have been sent to jail.
