Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has extended greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Akti (Akshaya Tritiya) Tihar. On this occasion, he has wished for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the people of the state. In his message issued on the eve of Akshaya Tritiya, the Chief Minister has said that the completion of the work started on the day of Akshaya Tritiya is considered certain, therefore this day is considered very auspicious and renewable. He said that auspicious time is not observed on this day even for marriage. During this time many cases of child-marriage also come to the fore, from which it is our collective responsibility to free the society.

Chief Minister Baghel said that the day of Akti holds special significance in the agricultural tradition of Chhattisgarh. Preparation for the new crop begins from this day. With the tradition of marriage of clay dolls, our forefathers have connected this festival with the earth, so that we should respect the soil considering it alive as the basis of life. Keeping in view the importance of the auspicious day of Akti, an initiative has been taken to keep the fertility of the soil renewable by starting the Mati Pujan Abhiyan in Chhattisgarh since last year. In the last decades, due to excessive use of chemicals and pesticides in the fields, the fertility of the earth is being destroyed. Due to this, our grains are becoming poisonous, which is affecting our health as well as the health of animals. He has said that if our soil and earth are not saved now, it will be too late. The Chief Minister has called for the active participation of all the farmers and Chhattisgarhi brothers and sisters in the Mati Pujan Maha Abhiyan.
