Grand event of Mata Kaushalya Mahotsav in Chandkhuri

Raipur. Mata Kaushalya Mahotsav-2023 is being organized grandly by the Culture Department of the state government in Lord Shri Ram’s maternal grandfather and Mata Kaushalya’s city Chandkhuri. In the three-day festival organized from April 22 to April 24, filled with faith and devotion, the stream of devotion to Shri Ram will flow in Lord Shri Ram’s maternal grandfather Chandkhuri. In this, well-known artists of the country and the state will present Manas songs, devotional songs, dances and hymns on all three days. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the festival on 22 April. Chief Minister Baghel had announced to organize Kaushalya Mahotsav every year in Chandkhuri on Republic Day this year.

Artists Kavita Paudwal, Raminder Khurana, Trupti Shakya from Mumbai, Vyomesh Shukla from Varanasi along with Prabhanjay Chaturvedi and Devesh Sharma from Chhattisgarh will give a devotional performance

This national festival is being organized by the state government to establish the splendor of Mother Kaushalya’s birthplace Chandkhuri on the world stage and to promote art, culture and tourism here. On April 22, the first day of the festival, Vyomesh Shukla Ram Ki Shakti Puja from Varanasi and Ms. Kavita Paudwal from Mumbai will present devotional songs and bhajans. On the second day of the festival, on April 23, Sushri Raminder Khurana of Mumbai will present a devotional classical dance drama and Prabhanjay Chaturvedi of Bhilai will present a bhajan. On the other hand, Devesh Sharma of Raigad and Trupti Shakya of Mumbai will present devotional songs and music on April 24, the last day of the festival. Manas songs will also be performed by the famous Manas Mandalis of Chhattisgarh on all the three days of the festival.
