Do Indian Airlines use the cargo terminal in Hong Kong?

Business: Cathay Cargo, a division of Cathay Pacific Airways, expects Indian airlines to use its cargo terminal in Hong Kong to handle a variety of cargo and is already actively working with airlines for similar purposes. Cathay Cargo Terminals CEO Mark Watts said the facility will have a capacity of 2.7 million tonnes of cargo per year and will be available to all airlines flying to Hong Kong. “There are currently no Indian airlines, but we expect more Indian airlines to use Cathay’s cargo terminal and we are actively working with them now,” Watts said in an interview with PTI.

“We are in talks.” He did not name the Indian airline he was in talks with. Mr Watts said the 100,000 sq m facility was “a good size in the short to medium term” and had scope for further growth. “In terms of the overall size of our facility, we really believe we are the right size for the short to medium term. “We are constantly reviewing the market and will consider in-barrel facilities to monitor the system,” he said.
