HC summoned DG of Traffic Department, know why?

Bilaspur. The High Court has expressed concern over the poor traffic system of the state and has sought a reply on how it can be fixed. The next hearing of the case will be on October 14.

Hearing is going on in the High Court as a public interest litigation regarding the poor traffic system of the entire state including Bilaspur. In the case, the court had summoned a reply from the Secretary Urban Administration on an affidavit regarding the traffic system of the entire state. During the hearing, it came to light that more trouble is being caused due to encroachment and haphazard driving and parking of vehicles.

During the hearing, the affidavit given by the Additional Superintendent of Police Traffic in the court talks about monitoring through CCTVs installed at the squares and intersections in the Integrated Command and Control System. Steps are also being taken on violation of traffic rules, traffic personnel will also be constantly present at the squares and crowded areas. This information was given. On this the court has sought a detailed reply on affidavit from DG Traffic regarding the traffic system of the entire state.
