Raipur: Dead body found lying in the drain

It is suspected that the young man was drunk and died after falling into the drain. This case is of Arang police station area.

According to the information received, the body of a young man has been found in a drain in Mohmela village under Arang police station area. The youth has been identified as Rohit Kurre (age 26 years), a resident of Mohmela. The police have sent the body for post-mortem after conducting Panchnama proceedings.

Arang police station in-charge Rajesh Singh said that Rohit Kurre, a resident of village Mohmela, was sitting on top of the drain built to take water to the farmers’ fields at around 08.30 pm.
