India: Indian wrestler Aman PM Modi calls India’s bronze medallist Aman Sehrawat done by paris A day after he defeated Puerto Rico’s Darian Cruz 13-5 in the 57kg freestyle wrestling event at the Olympics, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called him and congratulated him on his memorable win. In the video call, PM Modi wished Aman all the best for his future endeavours. The 21-year-old wrestler entered the quarterfinals after defeating former European champion Vladimir Egorov with a 10-0 win by technical superiority in the first round. He entered the semifinals with a 12-0 technical superiority win over Albania’s Zelimkhan Abakanov. However, he lost to Japan’s Rei Higuchi in the semifinals and lost his chance to win a gold or silver.
