According to the police, information was received about some persons gambling by betting money near Ult behind Sarodha Dam in Bhoramdev police station area of District Kabirdham. Cyber in-charge sub-inspector Ajaykant Tiwari dispatched the cyber team.
The team raided the spot. Gamblers started running away after seeing the police and on the spot, 9 gamblers named respectively: Rohit Jangde Kawardha, Yashwant Chandravanshi Kothar police station Pipariya, Mohanlal Sahu Bemetara, Dhamendra Jangde Pandariya, Dipesh Kumar Soni Kawardha, Sunil Kumar Bedhani Tilda Nevra, Ghanshyam Tamrakar Bemetara, Asharam Patel Baghutola. Police station Bhoramdev, Sudama Barmate Pandariya were found present. Phad and Rs 1,48,120 were seized from him.
