75 Lakh In Cash Recovered From A Locked House Belonging To Odisha Official

Bhubaneswar: In Odisha, vigilance officials recovered Rs 75 lakh in cash from the house of Additional Revenue Officer Jitendra Kumar Panda’s aunt. The incident took place in Barang in Cuttack district. The officials searched the locked house. A total of Rs 82 lakh in cash, gold and immovable properties were seized from the officer. Revenue officer Panda’s aunt lives in his house. Officials said that the money recovered from the house is still being counted. Vigilance searches revealed that the officer has several immovable properties. There are three triple-story buildings and a two-BHK flat in Bhubaneswar itself. There is a double-story building in Khordha district. There are four expensive plots. The plots are located in a very affluent area of ​​Bhubaneswar. Cash worth Rs 7 lakh and 100 grams of gold have been seized from another location. Details of a locker belonging to SBI bank are being collected.
