Bilaspur bilaspur news. The achievements of 50 years of agricultural science were celebrated in the form of Golden Jubilee Torch Yatra at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Bilaspur on 3 September. In this ceremony, the torch of agricultural science was handed over to the Krishi Vigyan Kendra of Janjgir-Champa, which will be the next stop of this torch journey. The torch journey started from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, which is passing through Krishi Vigyan Kendras across the country. In this sequence, on August 29, this torch reached Bilaspur via Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhatapara. During the ceremony, it was handed over to the Krishi Vigyan Kendra of Janjgir-Champa. chhattisgarh
chhattisgarh news A training session and scientific discussion was also organized for the officials of the Agriculture Department of the district in the program. More than 50 officials participated in it. On this occasion, Dr. Arun Tripathi, Senior Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bilaspur, highlighted the importance of Krishi Vigyan Kendras. He told how modern agricultural techniques are reaching the farmers’ fields due to the efforts of Krishi Vigyan Kendras, due to which the country has become self-sufficient in food grain production and the economic condition of the farmers is also improving. Lectures were also given on various subjects in the program. In these, Dr. Amit Shukla, Hem Kanti Banjare, Dr. Ekta Tamrakar, Jayant Sahu, Engr. Pankaj Minj, Dr. Nivedita Pathak, Dr. Chanchala Rani Patel and Dr. Swati Sharma shared their knowledge and experience.
The officials of the Agriculture Department also contributed significantly in making this event successful, in which Deputy Director Agriculture P.D. Hateshwar, Assistant Director Agriculture Anil Kaushik and Sushila Ohdar of Krishi Vigyan Kendra had a special contribution. The program was conducted by scientist Dr. Amit Shukla.
